Kaseys top cleaning picks

The tools we actually use—and swear by.

Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of cleaning products. Some are hyped, some are expensive, and some just don’t hold up in real homes with real messes. These are the tools and products I reach for again and again—both at work and at home.

If you’re loooking to simplify your cleaning routine and get better results with fewer prodcuts, start here.

🌱 Microfiber Cloths — A Non-Negotiable

Microfiber is a must in our cleaning kits. It grabs everything — dust, hair, fur, crumbs — from nearly any surface.

Perfect for baseboards, counters, wood furniture, and finishing touches. Pro tip: scrub first, then wipe clean with microfiber for the best results.

🌱 Alcohol + Water — Window & Mirror Magic

A simple mix of isopropyl alcohol and water is our go-to for streak-free windows and mirrors.

It cuts through grime, fingerprints, and buildup fast — and dries quickly without leaving residue. Simple, affordable, and incredibly effective.

🌱 Method All-Purpose Cleaner (Eucalyptus + Rosemary)

This is hands-down my favorite all-purpose cleaner.

It smells amazing (clean but not overpowering) and works well on most everyday surfaces. If you want one product that can handle counters, cabinets, and quick wipe-downs — this is it.

🌱 Murphy’s Oil Soap — Wood’s Best Friend

Murphy’s is a must-have for wood surfaces and floors.

It brings back shine, leaves everything looking refreshed, and smells so clean. We love it for finished wood, doors, trim, and hardwood floors when used properly and diluted.

🌱 Shark Stick Vacuum — The MVP

This vacuum is one of the easiest tools we use.

It’s lightweight, easy to clean, and simple to tote around the house. Bonus: it converts into a mini handheld vacuum — perfect for carpeted stairs and tight spaces. Dirt, fur, and hair don’t stand a chance, especially with all the attachments.

🌱 A Good Ole Sponge

Don’t underestimate a solid sponge.

Washable, durable, and great for scrubbing the tough stuff. Nothing beats a good sponge scrub on baseboards or scuffed areas — followed by a microfiber wipe for a clean finish.

Keeping It Simple, Keeping It Clean

You don’t need dozens of products to keep your home clean — just the right ones. These are the tools we trust daily at So Fresh and So Green because they work, last, and make cleaning more efficient.
